Social Media and MyInsider Giveaway Rules
January 31, 2020 – December 31, 2020
- The dates of the promotion are January 31, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
- This free contest is available to all Island View Social Media and App subscribers and users of MyInsider.com.
- Participants must be (21) years of age or older with current, valid State or Federal issued photo identification, and a member of the Island View Players Club. If a winner does not have an Island View Players Club membership, one must be acquired before claiming a prize. Individual memberships are free and may be requested at the Island View Players Club.
- Island View Casino via Social Media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), MyInsider.com and the MyInsider App will conduct weekly giveaways for nongaming related items, i.e., merchandise, food complimentaries, concert tickets, etc.
- Participants may earn entries by likes, shares, retweets, follows and opting in, depending on but not limited to the platform in which they participate.
- Participants may participate in multiple giveaways over different platforms weekly.
- Persons may not win more than once per 30 days of the promotion. Prizes are non-transferable.
- You do not have to be present to win. Winners will be notified by noon the day following the drawing via the platform they entered. All prizes must be claimed in person within 14 days at the Island View Players Club.
- Persons who are voluntarily or involuntarily excluded from Mississippi Casinos are not eligible to participate/claim prizes in the promotion.
- Persons who have received oral or written trespassing notice (86’d) against entering or remaining on Island View Casino Resort premises or property are not eligible to participate/claim prizes in the promotion. (Mississippi Code 97-17-97)
- All income taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and will be taken out of award winnings of $600 or more.
- Island View Casino Resort employees are not eligible to participate in the promotion.
- Participants may be required to disclose their employers and the identities of immediate family members as a condition of participating in the promotion or receiving any benefit from such participation. Any vendor or immediate family of a vendor who provides promotional items for a tournament, promotion or drawing shall be prohibited from participating in that activity.
- In the event of a computer malfunction, Island View Casino Resort is not responsible for equipment malfunctions, including but not limited to computer systems, or any equipment or social media platform utilized to administer this platform. IVR will take immediate steps to repair IVCR computer malfunctions, and complete the promotional activity if possible.
- Island View Casino Resort reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual. It further reserves the right to disqualify any player from any prize based upon fraud, violation of rules, posting of offensive material, or other unacceptable misconduct.
- Participation in this promotion deems permission to use photograph or likeness, name, and social media persona in all Island View Casino Resort promotional advertising and/or publicity without compensation, consideration, notice or consent where permitted by law.
- Circumstances may arise that are not addressed in these rules. In any such circumstance, the authorized Island View Casino Resort representative shall make determinations as may be necessary. The decision(s) of the authorized Island View representative will be considered final, subject to the rules set forth herein and any applicable law or regulation.
- The Mississippi Gaming Commission reserves the right to investigate any and all complaints and disputes regarding tournaments, promotions, and drawings. Such disputes will be resolved in accordance with the Mississippi Gaming Control Act and the Mississippi Gaming Commission Regulations.
- Management reserves the right to cancel, change and modify the promotional event with prior written notification to the Mississippi Gaming Commission, three (3) days prior to the commencement of the activity.
